Cocktails, Beer, and Beer Cocktails at Fullerton's Newest Pub

Orange Coast Magazine (October 14, 2016)

If you were blindfolded and spun around 10 times, there’s a strong chance you could swing a bat and hit a drink in downtown Fullerton. Locating the one that suits you is the difficult part. Where steamy jazz once spilled into the SoCo district of DTF now lies The Public House by Evans Brewing Company, a chill pub with an open-style kitchen, cocktails, and 20 taps of all delicious craft beer made in Orange County (60% house beer, 40% local). The concept isn’t complex; the ex-jazz club’s brick walls and wooden skeleton remain intact; the main difference is brushed drums and saxophone have been replaced with familiar tunes that pair well with a cozy pub vibe.

A Brewery Awakend

Brand Packaging Magazine (September 16, 2016)

The oldest craft brewery in California’s Orange County primarily produced private label beer until a dramatic rebirth in 2014 as Evans Brewing Company. The Brandit, a brand development agency with 13 years of experience in the craft beverage industry, was brought on as a creative partner to develop evocative, story-centric packaging for Evans’ four main-line beers to be packaged in 22-oz. bottles. For Evans Brewing, each beer’s label was to be completely unique, presenting the consumer with a captivating story that both celebrated Orange County and clearly expressed the unique flavors of that beer. The concept that resulted from this challenge was writing tall tales about how these special beers were born in Orange County-and then illuminating them with incredibly detailed illustrations. Each label features vividly designed, hand-drawn artwork and custom die-cut labels.
